
Kate Bouey is a well-known and highly successful journalist and broadcaster. She has lived in the UK for 15 years working for leading news organisations ABC and AP, and in Canada for The Canadian Press.
Her work includes:
- Writing and broadcasting on major world events in the UK for ABC (American Broadcasting Corporation) Radio News.
- Filing radio reports on major events and writing print stories for Associated Press wire service in their London Bureau.
- Covering major European stories for Broadcast News (radio division of The Canadian Press), in London, England and Toronto, Canada.
- Covering major Canadian political events from Parliament Hill as a journalist with Canadian Press-Broadcast News in their Parliamentary Bureau in Ottawa, Canada.
Kate has reported on such diverse stories as the funeral of Princess Diana, the Pan Am disaster over Lockerbie and the Iraq War. She has also filed feature items on London's arts scene, royalty and international celebrities.
Kate has a degree in journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
