
Marion Finlay is a highly experienced journalist, editor and communications specialist. She has lived in the UK for 20 years, working in government communications for the Cabinet Office, as a foreign correspondent for Canada’s largest newspaper, and as an editor of business magazines and websites.
Her work includes:
- Communications strategies for private and public sector clients.
- News Manager of the UK government’s website (now DirectGov), ukonline.gov.uk.
- London Bureau Manager with The Toronto Star newspaper, covering breaking news stories and writing feature articles about UK politics and society.
- Writing and editing magazines, books, pamphlets and websites in the UK for business to business organisations.
Marion has interviewed top politicians, artists, writers, actors and industry leaders, ranging from Margaret Atwood, David Hockney and the Sex Pistols. Her non-media work includes external and internal communications for the UK Cabinet Office, and communications strategies for private sector clients.
Marion has a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
